UX Process

I grew up in a rural area near the sea of Galilee. My parents were agriculturalists. 

As a son of a beekeeper, I joined my father in tending to the bees. Beekeeping is a very fascinating and unique process. A process that creates an experience for a desired end result, in this case, it's honey.

I think that beekeeping and UX have a lot in common. The beekeeper's users are the bees for which he's creating an experience.

There are many variables that are out of the beekeeper's control (e.g. the length of the winter, the amount of rainfall, diseases, etc.) that impact the experience of the bees and therefore impact the quantity, the quality and the flavor of the honey.

As a beekeeper, I learned that there are ways to manipulate these variables and to impact the experience of the bees. I can control the food of the bees. I can move the hives to different areas to create different flavors and colors of the honey.

As a UX designer I can also manipulate variables to impact the experience of the users.
